Summer Camp 2013
EXPLORE! ENCOUNTER! ENGAGE!
FRCC Summer Day Camp....on the beautiful Fort Ritchie campus in nearby Cascade, MD
From our home base at FRCC, boys and girls ages 6 to 13 will enjoy activities in and around the community center and on 600 acres of woods, lakes, wildlife and history. This year each camp week is focused on a special immersion theme, providing an opportunity for you to select the weeks that best suit your child's interests. Your camper will explore, encounter, engage...and, of course, have fun and meet new friends! Every week will also include some of our regular day camp features from past years, such as kayaking/rafting on the lake, sno-cones, and more. Click for registration forms.
Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-13. FRCC camp programs are age group appropriate, and campers will be divided into two groups for almost all activities. Group A consists of 6-9 year olds (Minimum age: 6 years of age before September 1, 2013 and must have completed Kindergarten). Group B consists of 10-13 year olds (Maximum age is 13. Camper may not turn 14 before September 1, 2013.)
FRCC members: $90 per week per camper
Non-members: $110 per week per camper
Week of July 1 -5: Members $75 / Non-members $90 (no camp on July 4)
Price covers all camp activities; there are no other fees.
There are no daily or partial week rates available.
No discounts are offered.
Campers qualify for the member rate if they or their parents/legal guardians are FRCC members.
AFTER JUNE 1, 2013: Payment for ALL of your child’s weeks of camp must be made in full at the time of registration. There will be no exceptions to payment terms and no refunds offered. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
The FRCC Summer Day Camp program operates Monday through Friday, June 17 through August 9 (except July 4), 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Parents may register their child for any or all of the weekly sessions. A parents' orientation meeting will be held on June 13th. Additional materials and information, such as Camp Rules and a "What to bring to camp" list will be provided to parents prior to the start of camp.
FRCC's Summer Camp is licensed to operate by the State of Maryland and adheres to all applicable laws and regulations related to youth camp programs.
FRCC thanks our summer camp sponsors without whom this program would not be possible...
